Who we are

Silverdale Consulting is a partnership of senior managers based in the London and South East areas who have a wealth of experience in the management of public services, third sector and business.

Raficq Abdulla - Partner:
Raficq has been an in-house lawyer, advisor to the board and company secretary to a number of companies, a national charity and a university. He has also been a NED at a NHS Trust. His expertise covers governance, management and mentoring and coaching. For more information click here

Liz Scholey - Partner:
Liz Scholey has been a senior manager and human resources professional in both the Health and Education sectors. In addition to her considerable Personnel and Development expertise and experience she has Public Sector Board membership experience and has managed her own small arts based business. John Hitches - Associate:
John Hitches entered the NHS as a graduate management trainee and spent 23 years in various management roles. His work included operational site management, NHS capital development and the establishment of an NHS nursing and midwifery college. He then moved to the higher education sector for 11 years. Much of that time was spent as a manager in the University Secretary’s department with a variety or roles including data protection (where John holds an ISIB certificate) and freedom of information. John is also a trustee of a charity run care home. For more information click here

Esther Williams - Associate:
Esther Williams has worked extensively in the Education sector. Her expertise in administration and leadership were gained at local government and national level. She now works as a qualified executive coach and teaches others these skills. She also undertakes organisational reviews in the university sector. For more information click here
